Your Voice Matters Most

Health Professionals are most trusted by the Hispanic community.

One of the biggest motivators for unvaccinated members of the Hispanic community to get vaccinated is hearing from a trusted source. As a health professional, your voice is the one they trust the most.* Help members of the Hispanic/Latino community make the best choice for themselves and their families.

Resources for Healthcare Professionals: 2022 Vaccine Advocacy Toolkit

Our 2022 Vaccine Advocacy Toolkit gives healthcare professionals an accessible, useful, and concise set of tools specifically tailored to increase vaccine uptake and address the main barriers that Hispanic people face in our current healthcare system. This toolkit places a special emphasis on fostering an empathetic and caring relationship between patients and their healthcare providers, which is essential to overcoming barriers to care.

Data from across sectors prove that one of the most important ways to reach those who are unvaccinated is through hearing from trusted sources. This toolkit was made to help you make this possible.

Physician Roundtable: Lessons Learned in the COVID-19 Pandemic

Dr. Eduardo Mariel, Dr. Carolina Saldarriaga Perez, and Dr. Fernando L. Ortiz from Neighborhood Health Clinics shared the key takeaways from their experience, and offered actionable next steps for their fellow vaccine advocates and #VaccinateForAll Champions.

“Bringing the vaccine to the community is fundamental to reach out our goal. We need to bring medical care and prevention (vaccines) to the people and not rely on them to find their way to medical services. We have the knowledge and the supplies. Our communities have the desire to participate, but they don't know-how; they need to feel secure and trust the providers. This is why we go to them. We offer them the vaccines and provide multilingual/multicultural staff that understand the communities, answer their questions, and offer solutions. We need to meet our communities where they are and not ask them to meet us where we are.”
